该病毒作品灵感来自于目前正在中国和世界上发生的新冠状病毒,这个作品讲述了这种病毒是如何被复制的,从显微镜中看到这一点,让我们从经验思考我们作为一个物种是多么脆弱,如此小的一个东西皆可以摧毁我们。
The virus is a work, inspired by all that is currently happening in China and the world with the Coronavirus. The work tells in part how this virus is reproduced, a way of seeing this from a microscope, giving us the experience of thinking how fragile we are as a species, when something so small destroys us。

我将自己的作品定义为自我的体现,是我精神或潜意识的延伸,而这仍然是我无法掌握的,并且位于纯净自我的最深层。因此,我的作品是对自己的最忠实的反映(做梦的人,容易幻想的人,敏感的人以及有点阴暗的人,有时令人沮丧的)我画故我在。
I would define my artwork as a manifestation of self, an extension of my spirit or sub-consciousness, which is still beyond my grasp and lies at the deepest sphere of pure self. the fictitious self from intervening, and hence my works are the most loyal reflections of who I am (dreamer, fantasy-prone, sensitive, and a bit dark and gloomy sometimes). I paint, therefore I am.

当下疫情严峻,疫情的造成归根结底还是人类对大自然的无节制的索取所致。近几年来病毒肆虐雾霾四起,是贪念、是欲望,是对大自然的过度开采对野生动物的过度捕杀。
本作品是用铜丝不规则缠绕编织出一位老人戴着口罩的形象,表现出繁杂的思绪、人与自然辩证统一的关系。
生命是需要呼吸的,人类的贪欲使得呼吸的空气都得不到安全的保障又该如何生存。治疗疫情治的是当下而治疗人的思想才能长治久安人与自然才能和平共存。
The current epidemic situation is severe, and the cause of the epidemic situation is ultimately caused by human's unrestrained demand towards nature. In recent years, the virus has raged in a haze of greed, desire, and over-exploitation of nature and excessive hunting of wild animals.
This work is an image of an old man wearing a mask knitted with irregular winding of copper wire, showing complex thoughts, the dialectical and unified relationship between man and nature.
Life needs to breathe, and humanity’s greed has made it impossible to breathe and survive. The cure for the epidemic is the present mindset that can have a long time effect on healing people as they learn to coexist peacefully with nature.

He graduated from the Sculpture Department of Shenyang University with a bachelor's degree in 2015 and currently lives and works in Beijing.

时间偷走了什么?
爱。
死亡。
还是那黎明的温暖。
风干了,
灵魂,
信仰,
又该寄予何方?
“plague song”
What did time steal?
Love.
Death.
Or the warmth of the dawn.
The air is dry.
Soul.
Faith.
And to whom?
当人类面对未知的力量时,内心会充满恐惧。而当人类对自然过度的控制时会将其摧毁,内心当中的信仰逐渐消失。再一次面对未知的恐惧也已经麻木,因为信仰已经消失。当自然不负存在,人类对于自然力量的过度控制也终将会失去。
When humans face unknown forces, their hearts are filled with fear. When humans control nature too much they will destroy it, and the belief in it will gradually disappear. Facing the unknown fear again is a numbing feeling, because faith has disappeared. When nature exists, human's excessive control over natural forces will eventually be lost.

疫情期间,身在成都家中自我隔离的人们被突如其来的地震弄得惊慌失措,一时间不知该躲哪种灾。“正义”与“邪恶”的斗争并没有因此停止,并且愈演愈烈。
During the epidemic, people who were self-isolated in their homes in Chengdu were panicked by the sudden earthquake. They didn’t know what kind of disaster laid outside, and all they could do was hide. The struggle between "justice" and "evil" has not stopped because of these disaster, but has merely intensified.

腐蚀着无辜者脸颊
我们都生活在超级病房中
人人自危而无所适从
时刻感受到双重病毒感染
精神慌言的谣言惑众
细菌侵袭的肌体坍塌
讲真话的一呼一吸是伟大的
他是生活在超级病房中的殉道者

艺术家:苍鑫
苍鑫以行为艺术而知名,虽然早期作品带有西方流派的影响但更注重身体力行、营造现场氛围、强调观者参与创作交流。他的作品构成和旨意并不同于80年代流行的简单表现愤世和反叛,而更多地反映了当下人类现实生存的束缚和焦虑。这些作品试图描绘一个源于古老传说和神话的、神秘且富有想象力的、代表东方文明又预示未来的世界。“艺术、哲学、宗教,我觉得这三个方面基本组成了人类的精神生活和他存在的意义。”苍鑫如是说。
Cang Xin is well known for his performance art. His works reflect the shackles and anxiety of human existence. These works try to depict a mysterious and imaginative world that is derived from ancient legends and myths, representations of oriental civilization, and heralds of the future.
"Art, philosophy, and religion, I think these three aspects basically constitute the human spiritual life and the meaning of his existence." Cang Xin said.

这几幅画所要表达的都是宅在家里的状态,被房子束缚,被各种形状的房子束缚,那些正方体和六面体也象征着束缚,是这场疫情让我们不得不呆在家里,但是,未来充满希望。
What these paintings want to express is the state of staying at home, bound by the house, bound by houses of various shapes, and those cubes and hexahedrons also symbolize bondage. This epidemic made us have to stay at home. The future is full of hope.

这次疫情最初我是没有警惕的,也没有准备口罩之类的,所以我最开始画的一些画都是关于提醒人们戴口罩防护和在家画画之类的主题,随着疫情的发展,看了很多新闻,自己也有一些感触,觉得咱们的医护人员实在是太辛苦太伟大了,于是创作了一幅身穿防护服,手提医药箱的插画,以此致敬所有前线的医护人员。
At first, I did not take this epidemic very seriously, nor did I prepare masks, so some of the first pictures I drew were to remind people to wear masks. After a lot of news and some feelings with the development of the epidemic, I felt that our medical staff were amazing hard workers. In tribute to the medical staff fighting on the frontline I created an illustration of them wearing protective clothing and carrying a medicine box.

Brin engaged in the illustration industry for many years. She feels she is not a person in the practical sense, but a soul of rebellion who pursues freedom.

这是疫情得到控制企业复工后准备去银泰理发,掏出手机用支付宝绿码进入大厦,人生中第一次戴着口罩进出商场。机场和高铁火车站给行礼才会有类似的安检,只是这一次是检测人类的体温。我想通过这5张照片,拼凑起时间的碎片。
This was the first time that I took my temperature in this way. I took out my mobile phone and entered the building with Alipay Green Code. For the first time, I wore a mask to go in and out of the mall. Originally, only airport or high-speed railway security checks were available, and this was just to take the temperature. Along the way, I randomly took 5 photos on my phone. I want to piece together the fragments of time through these five photos.
